Seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Pompano Beach. This position is a Temp to Hire position working Monday Thru Thursday 7am to 4:30pm & Friday 7am till 11am.

The compounding pharmacy technician works under the direction and supervision of the pharmacist to compound non-sterile and/or sterile dosage forms. The compounding pharmacy technician is expected to display high work ethic, productivity, and commitment to quality of work.

Responsibilities

Under pharmacist supervision and direction, compound non-sterile and/or sterile
dosage forms including suspensions, creams, solutions, ointments, injections, etc. * Follow all applicable standard operating procedures required in the compounding

processes, including use of equipment (i.e., analytical balances, ointment mills, LMXmixers), documenting requirements, and safety procedures.

Ensure compounds are prepared in accordance to master formulation instructions
and that all relevant compounding guidelines and quality standards are maintained * Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients during the compounding process per master formulation instructions and standard operating procedures.

For compounded sterile preparations, perform visual inspections, collect, prepare, &
package samples for environmental monitoring, prepare & package compoundedsterile preparations for shipment upon release from quality, and other proceduresper standard operating procedures. * Report out-of-specification observations, deviations, and modifications immediately
to the pharmacist on duty. * Take part in relevant training and education.

applications; knowledge of, or ability to learn, other systems as required. Demonstrates ability to type on PC keyboard * Proven multi-tasking ability with a capability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work
environment * Strong knowledge of product preparation, compounding, packaging and labeling as
well quality assurance standards * Strong knowledge of relevant USP compounding guidelines Experience & Qualifications:

Registered pharmacy technician with the Florida Department of Health
Preferred Qualifications: * Certified pharmacy technician (CPhT)

1+ year experience in non-sterile and/or sterile compounding
PK Compounder experience Additional Requirements:
Ability to stand for several hours
Ability to lift up to 35-50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
