Regent Court, Encore Communities, provides memory care and respite care for seniors. Regent Court is looking for a Community Relations Director to join the team!

The Community Relations Director is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive marketing program. Coordinates the referral development process and maintains all marketing information and records. Works closely with activities and culinary departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial interviews with prospective residents and family member and explain the benefits and availability of services.
  • Take telephone and drop-in inquiries and conduct tours of the facility.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with physicians, social workers, discharge planners, and other potential referral sources.
  • Follow up with potential leads thru email, calls and mailers.
  • Maintain an email contact list for referral agents.
  • Become involved in community service clubs, projects, and task forces to insure continued visibility of Encore communities and generation of leads.
  • Coordinate events with the help of activities and culinary department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR certified or ability to obtain.
  • Food handlers card or ability to obtain.

Experience

  • One (1) year experience in a long-term facility preferred.
  • Must have experience with working with communicating with people, especially residents, family members, and staff.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Must demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to work tactfully with personnel, guests, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Must possess the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult guests.
  • Must be able to relay information concerning a resident’s condition.
  • Demonstrate willingness and eagerness to participate in the education for, and the evaluation of, new products, equipment, technology, and system processes to improve guest care delivery.
  • Must perform in a manner that reflects the values of trust, compassion, and excellence of service in interactions with residents, families, the health care team and the public.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
