Community Outreach Specialist I Job at Arisa Health
Arisa Health is seeking a Community Outreach Specialist to work in Washington County Schools with youth and families.
A high school diploma or GED is required. This position also requires one of the following: 1) A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or a related field OR 2) Two years of direct client care experience with children and/or adults in a mental health setting. At least three years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families within a school setting, as well as previous community outreach or presentation facilitation experience is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills are required. An ability to be creative, self-motivated, and to work independently as well as with a treatment team model are also required. Candidates must have good computer skills, time management skills, an ability to organize and prioritize, and be patient, consistent, and flexible.
The Community Outreach Specialist will serve as the liaison between the Washington County School-based department and school personnel as well as provide outreach opportunities.
Work hours: Full time, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility required. No phone calls please.
