NOVA is a comprehensive victim services organization in Bucks County. With a 48-year history, NOVA has expanded to include a continuum of prevention and direct services to prevent and address the needs of victims of sexual abuse and other serious crimes.

The Bucks County Forensic Nurse Program at NOVA was developed out of a recognized need to create a continuity of forensic nursing care for victims of sexual and interpersonal violence in Bucks County.

Community Health Outreach. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team. This full-time position requires an enthusiastic and experienced professional who is deeply committed to improving the lives of victims of sexual assault and interpersonal violence (IPV). Primary responsibilities include educating and raising awareness in the community regarding the services available to victims of sexual assault and IPV. Outreach to a variety of partners may include hospitals, clinics, law enforcement, mental health agencies, and local colleges or universities. The program is located in the Jamison office. This full-time role is 37.5 hours/week and frequent local travel throughout Bucks County is required. This position reports to the Director of Forensic Services.

Required Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's/Associate's degree in social work, public health, or related field.

· Public speaking and strong communication skills.

· Ability to initiate and facilitate a sexual assault awareness program.

· Must meet all required clearances for employment (Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, etc.).
