Description:

Omni-Serv is looking for a high level Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Omni-Serv is a family run business united by its core values and vision. Our company includes businesses that operate in construction and facility maintenance, airport operations, parking and busing services.

  • Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily/weekly workflow.
  • Checking on employees to make sure that they are on time, with proper uniform attire, etc.
  • Scheduling - Must be able to help schedule employees (for work) in real time due to last-minute request from clients.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly to leadership team and a pool of 160+ employees.
  • Must be able to adapt to changes in the operation due to the fast paced environment. Must be able to multitask.
  • Time management - Must be organized and be able to prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
  • Building client and employee relations (training new hires if needed)
  • Helping to resolve employee issues and disputes, while also helping to improve department efficiencies.
  • Enforce company and Port Authority Airport rules and regulations/adhering to safety rules and policies.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of managerial experience
  • SORA license required
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Workforce Management experience is a plus
  • Payroll experience is a plus but not required
  • Must be able to work weekends (Scheduled days will be Friday-Tuesday); Expect to be on-call sometimes
  • Must have open availability
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Excel experience is a must.
  • Must have Customer Service experience
  • Must be teachable
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug test

Full-Time - $25/hr
