Primary Talent Partners has an available contract position with a large IT Consulting client of ours for a Communications Specialist!

  • Support the Attendee Communication team with campaign management
  • Support the creation and production of pre- and post-conference communication to registered attendees of our conferences
  • Maintain content on web-based portal
  • Drive associate education and engagement with Conferences by partnering with Sales and Services stakeholders to develop and execute timely and informative communications
  • Manage and improve processes for writing and sharing key announcements for communicating conference milestones and updates
  • Project manage updates and splash announcements on conference-specific Inside our pages, ensuring all pages are always up-to-date
  • Working with the Sr. Manager, HR Communications, develop, execute and publish communication deliverables to help associates better understand the conferences business and all related tools and systems
  • Propose and execute innovative ways to better communicate key information to sales and services teams
  • Help develop and manage a tactical communications calendar that incorporates quarterly business updates, new initiatives, and ongoing priorities.The calendar aims to:
  • Prioritize and simplify content to deliver the right information to the right people at the right time
  • Ensure all associates have easy access to critical tools and resources to complete compulsory activities
  • Communicate new initiatives that impact functionality for rest of business
  • Ensure clear, concise information is readily available for ongoing activities
  • Support teams on the ground with review and revision of newsletter and email communications on an ongoing basis
  • Increases associate awareness of tools, resources and information to be more effective.
  • Support coordination of live conference briefings
  • Support Attendee Engagement team with data management and ad hoc initiatives
  • Maintain data on dashboards to track performance
  • Assist with special initiatives and programs at our conferences
  • Potential to travel to our Conferences to support the Attendee Communication team onsite

Skills

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Work with team members across time zones
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; marketing, communications, or events concentrations preferred
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Events experience a plus
