As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively convey our brand and messaging to our target audience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling content for various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and press releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the company's objectives
- Create and distribute content for various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and press releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with the company's brand
- Monitor and analyse communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and make recommendations for improvement
- Build relationships with key media outlets and manage media inquiries and interviews
- Manage crisis communication plans and serve as a spokesperson as needed
- Provide communication support for various company initiatives and events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
- Some experience in a fast-pace environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for various channels
- Experience in social media management and email marketing
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in crisis communication management is preferred
