Commercial Driver
Job Duties:
Load, secure, transport and unload products to wholesale customers per delivery ticket
Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods to ensure timely service
Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pickup instructions or to receive notice in changes in scheduled delivery or pick up
Maintain customer relations while in route
Complete all required paperwork throughout the day
Perform all tasks safely
Qualifications:
Commercial Truck Drivers License, upgraded license is a plus
Clean MVR
Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
Wayne-Dalton of Syracuse complies with all DOT Random Drug Screening requirements
Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the day
Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues with sales and dispatch
Knowledgeable on how to use hand held devices like smart phones or other similar devices, or ability to learn these skills
Work well independently and as a team player
Have a strong drive to deliver quality service to customers
Excellent customer service skills
Construction experience a plus
