Commercial/Ag Loan Processor Job at Community First Bank
Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment with challenge of multiple deadlines? Our Commercial/Ag Loan Processors assist our Commercial/Ag lenders in the preparation and processing of commercial/agricultural loans. Specific responsibilities include:
- Creates quality loan documents in a timely manner with accuracy for all commercial and ag loan types including participation loans.
- Ensures loan files are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Completes disbursing and booking of loans to general ledger.
- Completes checklists and ensures documents are accurately placed within loan files and documents imaged according to bank procedures.
- Contacts third party vendors to assist with ordering of valuations, title work, resolves questions, inconsistencies or missing data.
- Coordinates loan information with settlement agents if necessary.
- Follows up and monitors perfection of bank's security interest and receipt of collateral and other supporting documentation as necessary using bank's tickler system.
- Provides quality and completeness of loan files.
- Reviews insurance notifications daily and follows up on cancellations in a timely manner to ensure the bank's collateral is protected.
- Provides customer service by assisting with department phone calls from internal and external customers regarding payments, payoff quotes, general questions, etc.
Ideal candidate should possess:
- High School Diploma
- One year of banking experience and/or additional clerical or administrative training
- Prefer loan experience
