$2,500 Hiring Bonus (redeemed after 90 days of full-time work)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

➢ Counsel clients individually or in group sessions to assist in overcoming symptoms and difficulties adjusting to life, or making changes

➢ Ensure timely completion of documentation and program compliance, in accordance with

MN Statute Ch. 245g

➢ Assist agency in providing culturally affirming programming and work towards achieving

TCWCRG mission through unique shared vision.

➢ Role model behavior which is supportive to people in recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. Such behavior will include upholding ethical standards of the program

➢ Participate in staff meetings, trainings, workshops, class work, and other continuing education relative to quality client care

Education/Experience Requirements:

➢ Certified LADC with the state of MN
➢ Licensed as a mental health provider (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LP) or certified as a licensing candidate in the state of Minnesota *Only dual positions

➢ Free of any substance use problems and have not been in a substance use disorder treatment program for the past two years

➢ Must pass a DHS background check
➢ Demonstrate working knowledge in the field of substance use and mental health disorders, in a substance use disorder treatment facility

➢ Excellent organizational and computer skills; Microsoft Outlook/Office experience required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
➢ Possess maturity, patience, understanding and empathy with recovering individuals
➢ Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
➢ Strong group facilitation skill

➢ Aptitude to relate well to clients with diverse economic and cultural backgrounds
