CNC Programming Instructor - Florence, KY Job at Mazak Corporation
Mazak Corporation is looking for a Programming Instructor to join the Training department. The Programming Training Instructor trains customers and internal employees on the operation and programming of Mazak machine tools. Training classes are held at Mazak Technology Centers and at customer facilities. This positions works at our National Technology Center located in Florence, KY.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
- Create training manuals and documentation to support customer and employee training courses.
- Create eLearning courses to support customer and employee training.
- Develop curriculum for Programming and Operator Training classes.
Education/Certification:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- 2 or 4 year degree in relevant field is preferred
Skills:
- 5 years of CNC operator and programming background
- Knowledge of tooling and workpiece setup
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and post processors
- Knowledge of macros and probing cycles
- Ability to create technical publications that accurately convey material relevant to training
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
