CNC Machinist (Second Shift) Job at M&J Precision Machine
We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic Machinist for Second shift. We are hiring Entry level, Mid level and Senior level Machinist. We offer Excellent Benefits that are low cost to the employee, Matching 401K, Paid time off, and a tool purchase program.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years experience setting up CNC mills, Horizontal Mills, and/or 5-axis machining centers
- Experience machining tight tolerance parts.
- Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with a shop floor control system.
- Experience with Mazak Mazatrol and/or DMG Mori CELOS is a plus.
- Experience with Mastercam a plus.
- Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales
- Strong understanding in blue print reading/ geometric tolerancing interpretation (GD&T)
- Experience machining aerospace parts a plus
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
- Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.'
