CNC Machinist ll Job at Sealed Air Corporation
CNC MACHINIST – Monday to Thursday 9pm to 7am !
*$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS!
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safely procedures and regulations.
- Set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using basic mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers
- Verify settings by adhering to blueprint specifications and international standards
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, milling, and cutting
(This includes turning, facing, knurling and internal/external threading, and manual esthetics to meet quality expectations)
- Ability to adjust adhering to print specifications
- Detect malfunctions and troubleshoot
- Accomplish organization goals by exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 2 years machinist experience required
- SET-UP (vs. operator only)
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and sketches to produce parts
- Knowledge of OKUMA, FADALS, and ROBODRILLS helpful
- Understanding of G and M Codes
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Process improvement
- Knowledge of Lean practices desired
