This posting is for student applicants who desire to participate in Haven Health's Nursing Assistant Training Program to become a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant. Applicants accepted to this program must commit to a training program with the ability to actively participate on time, in-person at all sessions. Course dates for this program begin on January 9, 2023, through February 3, 2023, with application deadlines of December 28th, 2022. The sessions will be taught through in-person classes that vary in length between six to eight hours each day. A schedule for the classes with be provided to qualified applicants. Applicants must meet several minimum requirements including reading and math comprehension testing, background check, TB screening, drug test screening, the ability to lift 50 pounds, documentation that would adhere to the COVID-19 Vaccination mandate, speak, read and write English and must obtain a watch with a second hand and minimal uniform items. A CPR certification is also required, but the location can assist qualified applicants in obtaining this certification as well. Qualified applicants will be contacted for interviews and evaluated for acceptance into the class with the intention for those who pass to be offered a CNA position at a Haven Health location upon successful completion of the Nursing Assistant Training Program. Students in the class are uncompensated non-employees.
