Resources for Human Development is seeking to hire a Corporate Clinical Director to provide assessment, development and leadership of clinical services and to develop systems to monitor clinical quality while supporting growth across all service lines. The Corporate Clinical Director participates as a member of the Department of Clinical Innovation and Quality (DCIQ) to ensure the highest standards of clinical care, the implementation of EBP/BP across the corporation, and the support of clinicians in their work. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.
Work may be accomplished from a remote/home office and program/operations offices as responsibilities dictate. Some ability to travel will be necessary throughout the service areas within RHD.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Leadership & Staff Oversight:
- Provide clinical supervision and/or consultation to clinicians at both a Program and Corporate level. Respond to routine and urgent clinical day to day matters.
- Provides clinical leadership for the corporation, including accountability for portions of RHD’s Strategic Objective Plan.
Clinical Development:
- Identify and implement clinical initiatives (Corporate Wide Evidenced-Based and Best Practice Initiatives like DBT, SMART) in partnership with program and division leadership. Assess required resources to implement recommended Evidence Based and Best Practices.
- Create clinical infrastructure to ensure highest standards of care.
- Participate as member in the development of new programs to ensure clinical best practices and necessary structures are incorporated into the program design.
- Collaborate with other Clinical Directors to develop and maintain Communities of Practice; and advise EVP and CPO on all matters related to clinical practice.
- Assist in identifying and establishing relationships with local colleges and universities and other community entities.
- Participate with Corporate, division and DCIQ staff in conference presentations and collaborations with academic institutions, trade associations and funders.
- Provides the clinical voice and visibility for RHD in multiple forums such as executive team, corporate wide meetings (e.g. State of RHD) town halls, represents RHD at the funder level (ex. CBH, CCBH, DBH).
Quality Assurance and Evaluation:
- Consult in the development, implementation and review of training and curriculum plans.
- Partner with the Outcomes Dept to drive the clinical direction in development of data collection and analysis, including corporate initiatives.
- Participate as member of DCIQ to review clinical trends and corporate clinical initiatives (ex. Trauma Informed Care, Person Centered Treatment, HCBS, inclusive employment); and collaborate with other RHD departments around clinical trends.
- Focus on state and national trends and assist in developing divisional plans in response to trends to ensure that division is meeting clinical requirements.
Finance and Other Operations:
- Provide clinical insight in operational decision making, including Budget Initiatives, Root Cause Analysis and Value Based contracting.
- Participate in program budget development to identify necessary financial and human resources for clinical programming.
- Participate in RFP development with BDT and divisional/dept leaders
Required Experience:
- 7 to 10 years of clinical experience in the field of Human Services; experience working with persons with IDD preferred.
- 5 years of experience and training in assessing and treating individuals with sexual offenses and problematic sexual behaviors, and approved provider status with the PA Sex offender assessment board is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years clinical supervision experience is required.
Required Education:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field; Doctoral degree preferred.
- LPC, LCSW or licensed psychologist preferred.
- 5 years of experience and training in assessing and treating individuals with sexual offenses and problematic sexual behaviors, and approved provider status with the PA Sex offender assessment board is preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of DSM-V
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Must have appropriate clearances where applicable.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to perform occasional evening and weekend work

RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia must follow the COVID vaccine mandate. Revised PDPH guidance allows for new hires to be partially vaccinated at the time of hire. This means they have received at least one shot in a two-dose series or a single dose in a one-dose series before beginning in-person shifts. The final amount must be received within

weeks of hire (start date). This currently does not include boosters.
