BayCare Medical Group is currently in search of its next Clinical Coordinator - Medical Assistant. The Clinical Coordinator - Medical Assistant will oversee daily clinical operations.

Requirements:
• Assist Site Manager and physicians with the successful operations of the clinical staff, procedures and treatment.
  • Support the physician's office health care team
  • Answer phones
  • Screen patient's chart prior to appointment
  • Interview patients and prepare them for examinations and other procedures
  • Assist the physician during the exam
  • Administer injections
  • Perform any necessary lab work or testing
  • Follow up on test orders and reports results to the physician and patient
  • Provides patient education
  • Maintain medical equipment and take inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • The Clinical Coordinator position will not only include clinical duties, but also act as a liaison between the customer and entire Team.
  • The goal is to increase access, volume, mentor and train new hires assist in RX refills, assist with patient portal messages, EKG's etc.
  • Preparing for regulator agency reviews and maintaining the expected gold standard of care.
  • Assisting with the duties in place.

Qualifications:

Certification & Licensure:

  • Required Certification or Licensure includes RMA (Registered Medical Assistant, CMA (Medical Assistant), EMT or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician) or Paramedic.
Education:
  • Required High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
  • Required 6 years Medical Assistant
  • Required 1 year as a Medical Assistant with BayCare Medical Group or BayCare Urgent Care.
