Description : All About Animals Rescue is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with a professional attitude to join our team and help improve the quality of life of companion animals, while working to help reduce the homeless pet population through spay/neuter.
Responsibilities :
- Greets clients, assists in appointment check-in and/or discharge.
- Checks in pets for vaccines and other wellness services in the on-site Wellness Clinic.
- Answers clinic phones, schedules appointments, returns messages and forwards messages to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Ensures complete and accurate records exist for all patients, including rabies certificates, discharge paperwork and medical records.
- May perform a variety of routine clerical functions, e.g., data entry, sorting and filing paperwork.
- Inventories and orders office and clinic supplies.
- Promote the humane care and treatment of animals at all times.
- Actively promote spay and neuter and educate clients on responsible pet ownership.
- Provide high quality service to all clients, volunteers and staff.
- Adhere to goals, objectives, methods and costs necessary to accomplish the mission of the organization.
Requirements:
- Ability to work standing or sitting for eight or more hours.
- Ability to bend and kneel repeatedly.
- Ability to lift 20-plus pounds.
- High energy and inspirational attitude.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to client service.
