Enovis Surgical is looking for an effective operations Supervisor that is passionate about leading a diverse team on 2nd shift and driving improvement on a daily basis. An individual that brings high energy, enthusiasm, and ideas to work every day. An individual that desires a fast pace, a challenging environment, and room to grow across all functions.
This is a 2nd shift position, 3-11:30pm, Monday-Friday, must be able to work overtime
What you’ll be doing
Operations Supervisor leads 20-40 associates in day-to-day activities of the manufacturing of Surgical Implants. Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the department is staffed to meet required demands and responsible for leading the team to achieve critical KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. Supervisor will be required to drive continuous improvement and implement critical projects within their department. Supervisor will be required to make sure that employee payroll is on-time and accurate. Supervisor is responsible for leading a winning culture for their employees where team members are valued, encouraged, treated with dignity and respect, and accountable for delivering desired results.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of associates to desired goals
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of lean concepts
- Ability to work well with cross functional team members
- Must have excellent conflict resolutions skills and be able to handle confrontation diplomatically; must be able to work in a very stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged
- Sets and achieves challenging goals; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; measures self against standards of excellence; takes calculated risks to accomplish goals
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings
- Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization’s goals and values
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with ERP system to make transactions and basic reporting
- Ability to take data and use to drive improvement in department
Job Qualifications
- A 4-year degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years related to manufacturing leadership experience and clean room experience is preferred.
- Ability to drive change; approaches new strategies and assignments with “can-do” attitude; adapts quickly
- Good organizational/time management skills
- Ability to work under general direction, high level of confidentiality and collaborate with the team
- Strong communication skills with continuous learner mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills to include persuasion, interpretation, discretion, be approachable, patient and be an active listener.
- Knowledge of organization structure, policies and protocol
- Good decision making/problem solving skills relating to diversified, moderately complex issue
- Able to maintain a mature and professional attitude with many levels of enovis employees
