We are currently seeking Child Care workers to service the Statesville and Mooresville area. These Child Care sites are dedicated to serving the teachers of the district.

  Responsibilities:

  Child Care workers complete the following tasks:

  • Meeting the individual's needs of the children
  • Parent communication.
  • Participation in staff and training meetings.
  • Changing diapers
  • Feeding children breakfast, lunch, snack
  • Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
  • Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
  • Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.
  • Implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
  • Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
  • Building teamwork.

  Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • 1-2 years' experience in a childcare setting
