Summary/Objective
The Chief Information Officer will help build and lead the execution of the organization’s technology strategy. The successful candidate is a passionate and intellectually curious leader, who will actively collaborate with colleagues in executive leadership and bring together multiple teams to support and drive the company’s mission. This individual will work hand in hand with the company’s leadership team to deliver an outstanding and unique customer experience.

Leads the Information Technology team to provide a stable, resilient network while developing team members to enable them to provide the environment the bank will need to excel in the future.- Work strategically and collaboratively with key organization leaders to define a long-term vision for technology resources.
- Work with the EVP of Digital Strategy and business units to shape forward-thinking capabilities for improving customer acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
- Work with business leaders to understand future objectives and develop technology solutions (both tactical and strategic) to help achieve those goals.
- Define, execute, and maintain a Technology Roadmap that aligns with the organization’s overall strategy.
- Share knowledge and educate the organization's management, staff, customers, and stakeholders with regards to the company’s technological vision.
- Develop, track, and assist with managing the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
- Oversee compliance with relevant security, regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Promote and oversee strategic relationships and agreements between internal technology resources and external entities, including vendors and partner organizations
Skills/Abilities
Capability to identify emerging trends in the market, assess the economic impact/opportunity, and make sound recommendations to advance the organization’s strategic objectives.- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups both within the organization or while representing the organization.
Education and Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in strategic technology leadership.
- Master’s degree (MBA) or higher is preferred.
- Financial and/or banking industry experience with strong understanding core business drivers, processes, and functionality.
- Experience in senior technology leadership positions focused on developing, delivering, and supporting a large-scale software service offering.
- Expertise in delivering outstanding web and mobile experience to a variety of end user personas.
- Expertise in solution architecture, especially in the rapid incorporation of new functionality into web-delivered applications.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.
Physical Demands
This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
Travel
Travel may be required for this position.
