This position is located in Princeton, New Jersey and is Hybrid: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
Job Overview
Contracts Analyst Administrator for GPO/IDN/VA DoD/Trade manages these books of business using the Contracts Administration Quality Control Process to ensure all chargebacks are administered accurately within SAP, Vistex and Icertis contract management systems and verifies only approved downstream customers have access to contract prices. Works closely with finance, accounts payable to ensure chargebacks are accrued and administered accurately.
Responsibilities
- Identifies chargeback errors and works with trading partners and finance for timely dispute resolution when necessary
- Reviews weekly/monthly chargebacks loaded in Vistex for alignment with Contract Summary and approved classes of trade for accuracy
- Review Contract Summary Sheet with Contract Manager and Manager Pricing Strategy for accuracy
- Manage contract setup in SAP and Vistex contract management system includes verifying all contract metrics loaded accurately and align with Contract Summary Sheet.
- Assists Senior Manager Pricing and Contracts, Contracts Manager and Manager Pricing Strategy with development of standardized reports for chargeback accuracy.
- Review chargebacks for accuracy and submit to Senior Manager Pricing and Contracts for approval.
- Collaborate with Finance and Senior Manager Pricing and Contracts for claims and post audit claims resolution issues
- Maintains assigned contracts in Icertis contract management tool
- Prepares, organizes and maintains contract records required by Contracts Administration Quality Control Process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent direct experience
- Minimum of 3 year's previous contract and/or pricing experience preferred in the brand pharmaceutical company, experience with wholesalers is a plus.
- Proven experience with ERP platform services such as SAP and Vistex.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- General understanding of wholesale and retail pharmacy business
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to organize large amounts of data, identify trends
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and areas of expertise
- Ability to work independently, setting goals and driving deliverables
- Experience w/ analytics and business intelligence tools preferred
- Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data
- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
- Able to manage any of a number of special projects that may be collaborative or single contributor in scope. These special projects may be assigned or individually developed out of the need for process improvement, increased operational efficiency, or training needs as they may arise
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 4 year's previous contract and/or pricing experience
- Preferably for brand pharmaceutical company, experience with wholesaler or specialty distributor may be considered.
