BHC Alhambra Hospital is located in the beautiful city of Rosemead, California. Our 115 bed facility established in 1924 prides itself on upholding a standard of excellence that allows our patients to take the first step to recovery. BHC Alhambra Hospital is a private, fully accredited, full-service acute psychiatric hospital serving children, adolescents and adults. BHC Alhambra is dedicated to providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and eating disorder treatment. We offer inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient options for individuals in the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas.


Minimum Requirement:

  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred
  • We will provide training for caring, compassionate and interested hires.
  • May be required to work overtime and flexible hours
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Certified Nursing Assistant


Job Description: Working under the direction of an RN, LVN or LPT, the Certified Nursing Assistant functions as an active part of the treatment team and provides continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to our eating disorder patients. Daily responsibilities include (not limited to): accurately administer and record vital signs; observe, assess and document a resident’s appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals; effectively and professionally communicate with clinical team, staff, patients and customers.
