Jones-Harrison is currently seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team! The CNA is a key team member who provides direct personal care to our residents to help ensure their dignity and quality of life.
Pay: New grads start at $19.00 per hour! Experienced aides can earn up to $23.00 per hour!
Shift: Full-time & part-time opportunities available
AM (6am to 2pm)
PM (2pm to 10pm) + $1.00 shift differential!
NOC (10 to 6am) + $1.00 shift differential!
Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, eating, bathing, and socializing
- Monitoring of resident’s condition changes & reporting to the nurse
- Transferring and lifting of residents/accommodating mobility status
- Build rapport and relationships with residents within the community
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Must be in good standing and active on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry
- Experience in health care or long-term care preferred, but not required
- Must receive a “not disqualified” criminal background result from DHS and may not be on the OIG exclusions list
- In accordance with CMS Vaccine Mandate, candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccine or submit documentation for exemption
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests & abilities
- Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
- Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet resident needs
- Ability to work with residents and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain continuing education credits as required
- Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
