The centralized lending underwriter/ credit analyst is responsible for building relationships with members by assisting with consumer, home equity, and member business loan applications. This position will analyze loan requests, make recommendations and lending decisions based on the member and/or business need., Lending policies and established procedures will be followed when making recommendations or lending decisions. The underwriter will recognize and recommend financial products and services to members based on their unique needs and overall financial wellness.
This position requires advanced knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and member business lending and the ability to be decisive in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. This position will set SCFCU apart from the competition by making a meaningful difference with members, communicating in a timely and effective manner, and representing the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
