Clark Distributing is currently hiring for a Category Manager at our Versailles, KY location
JOB POSITION - CATEGORY MANAGER
POSITION OBJECTIVES
- Promotes proper shelf space management according to company standards by utilizing analytical skills, selling techniques, and computer-aided resources.
- Execute resets in existing or new retail stores which include the construction of sets and/or merchandising of product according to the reset schedule or as demanded.
- Maintains accountability from the beginning to the end of the entire process.
- Ensure the company achieves its targeted space goals and resets are completed to allow the company to compete in all categories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements alcohol resets consistent with Company standards designed to improve retailer product sales, meet distribution objectives and achieve new product placements.
- Acts as point person for all in-store implementation to include coordination and/or execution of resets, chain store modifications and new store openings.
- Understands all aspects of space planning to satisfy standards and expectations of the company, its customers and suppliers.
- Works cross functionally with area sales managers and sales representatives to determine non-chain customers in which resets would have a substantial impact.
- Analyzes data from available measurement resources, including internal and external sales data to determine sales trends and market conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
