We are currently looking for a:
Castle Park - Ride Operator
Roles & Responsibilities:
Rate: $15.50 per hour
Roles & Responsibility
- Complete daily safety checklist before operation of ride
- Enforce ride restrictions and measure for height requirements
- Explain safety procedures to riders
- Operate ride controls to start and stop
- Provide all necessary spiels
- Effectively communicate with coworkers and guests to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Safely operate the ride, which includes observing riders and the ride at all times
- Assist guests in and out of the ride vehicles and cycle through the line efficiently following all safety procedures
- Accurately respond to guest questions
- Respond appropriately and quickly to ride emergencies
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete all tasks as required by Ride Supervisors and/or Management
- Comply with and enforce all park policies, procedures, and labor laws
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Languages: Fluent English
Skills:
- Communication – Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Problem Solving/Analysis – Define problems and execute remedial strategies in a timely manner
- Flexibility – Maintain a flexible work schedule
Experience: NA
Other:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elements including direct sunlight, cold, rain, dust, and all other outdoor weather elements
- Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, and bend
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs
