Compensation:
Hourly Pay: $15.03
Note: Salary can vary depending upon education, experience, or qualifications

Position Summary: Diligently monitors information received via the electronic security system, video surveillance equipment and fire system. Notify appropriate personnel to respond to alarms, accidents, and other emergency situations. Monitors state office buildings in order to ensure they are safe and secure by performing building tours and physically checking all interior doors, stairways, lobbies, roof hatches, etc. Patrols the exterior of buildings looking for vandalism.

Qualifications -
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Licensing: Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications: Ability to learn and comprehend the various computer, security, and surveillance systems. Available and able to work rotating shifts and building assignments. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with fellow employees and the general public. Ability to sit, walk, stand see to monitor video and surveillance equipment, bend, stoop, twist, climb stairs, and to hear and speak clearly on two-way radio and telephone.
