Cable, Fiber, Internet & TV Technician | Muskogee, OK | Benefits & Training Job at Raywave Communcations
We are seeking a reliable field technician with excellent organizational skills who can install, maintain, and repair cable systems for residential and business customers for Suddenlink. A cable technician installs data and voice cable systems for residential televisions, routers, and other cabled devices. You will be required to work on poles, install equipment, and troubleshoot any issues. We are a vendor for Altice/Optimum.
Technician Responsibilities:
· Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure.
· Performing maintenance on existing cabling systems.
· Testing newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications.
· Installing of televisions, routers, and internet technology devices.
· Troubleshooting issues with the cable network.
· Completing paperwork such as timesheets, checklists, vehicle inspection reports, and service orders.
Technician Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Previous work experience as a cable technician is a plus.
· Vehicle that can haul tools and ladders
· Ability to install complex internet and television equipment.
· Ability to work in cramped spaces.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix any problems that may arise.
· Ability to work at heights up to 28ft.
· Valid driver's license.
· Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
