Job Summary:
The individual will be responsible for executing procurement activities such as: supplier identification and solicitation, source selection, purchase order and subcontract awards, and post award administration of awards in support of direct program/project procurement
Responsibilities:
Sources and purchases parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for program operation
Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
Conducts research and compiles information to keep informed on price trends, confers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers’ operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
Prepares bid packages, reviews proposals and bids, negotiates prices and terms, selects or recommends suppliers, follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary contract records from cradle to grave
Provides procurement support for proposal efforts as required
Develops and maintains procurement files compliant with company and government policies and regulations
Initiate Purchase Requisitions, Purchase orders, and goods receipts in Deltek Costpoint’s Procurement module
Purchase Card (Pcard) – ensure purchase compliance, update charge allocations and compile accurate monthly Pcard package
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED, Bachelors degree a plus
Five (5) years’ experience in procurement/purchasing/related work
Working knowledge of different subcontract types including FFP, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrids
You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
Deltek CostPoint experience a plus
MS Excel and Word proficiency, knowledge of MS products and Sharepoint sites
Basic understanding of FAR/DFAR and other Government agency specific regulations
Basic understanding of price analysis methodologies
Experience in a CPSR environment
