Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking a Business Development Director to join our team. This position will require a strong background in capture management and government contracting. The ideal candidate will have an extensive track record of success in winning federal contracts and have strong relationships within the government contracting community. This is a senior-level position with excellent benefits and profit share opportunity.

What will you be doing?

This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

• Develop and maintain relationships with federal customers
• Identify new opportunities for bid based on customer requirements
• Establish teaming relationships to fill competency gaps
• Implement win themes and pricing strategies
• Build a strong understanding of UTRS service offerings to effectively represent and market these competencies
• Compile and analyze market intelligence to support opportunity pursuit decisions
• Provide regular updates on new business development activities and other key performance indicators
• Contribute to proposal efforts and transition plans for new contract wins
• Attend trade shows and events and be an active participant in industry associations to increase company visibility

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• Minimum ten years’ experience in business development and capture of federal contracts
• Occasional travel required
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and relationship skills
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must hold or have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
• UTRS has COVID-19 vaccination status requirement.
