BUSINESS ANALYST Job at OYO HOTEL & CASINO LAS VEGAS
Job Summary:
Paragon Tropicana Inc. (dba OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas) is searching for a Business Analyst. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role is responsible for providing analytical support to operational leaders to assist in identifying business challenges and proposing cost-effective solutions.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare standardized reporting on various operations to provide senior leaders visibility into performance trends
- Monitor and manage the standard data request workflow and fulfill routine data requests by providing standard system reports and report conversions/customizations, as requested
- Conduct data analytics projects as requested by management and build data models, where applicable, in support of these projects
- Collaborate with the audit team on assigned projects and assist in the evaluation, design and implementation of advanced data analytics to increase audit efficiencies and expand internal audit coverage.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify and answer key business questions using data and/or analysis
- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed solutions
- Prepare cost estimates and feasibility reports.
- Provide program support to ensure seamless and compliant execution of property marketing campaigns
- Oversee the development and production of monthly direct mail programs, including list generation, proforma's, creation of offers, implementation and post campaign analyses
- Communicate analyses, findings, conclusions, and recommendations to all relevant business partners, and actively assist in the implementation of accepted recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- At least three (3) years of business analytics experience required.
- Casino experience required.
- Experience working with IGT Advantage Systems required.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
