Budtender Job at Hometown Provisioning
A Budtender's role is to provide friendly and accurate customer service to a wide range of adult-use cannabis customers. A good Budtenders builds relationships and trust with customers in order to best advise them on products, usage, and dosage. You will be the face of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Actively listen for customer needs/wants
- Advise and suggest products and strains that fit with their needs
- Explain proper usage of products
- Package and prepare products and sales space during slow times.
- Open and close sales stations within the provisioning center.
- Tasks may expand to include dispatching, curbside delivery, inventory management and more, as the provisioning center adopts more features and/or the Budtender is entrusted with more responsibility.
Qualifying Skills:
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry including strains, concentrate types, basic cultivation and extraction techniques, realistic dosages and effects, etc.
- Customer Service experience and/or charming demeanor
- Open availability for varied hours/days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays helps.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age of older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to read fine print (typed font).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Shift:
- 4 hour shift

- Belleville, MI 48111: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
