Downeast Cider

Downeast Cider is the #1 hard cider brand in New England and #2 hard cider in the country. Our first batches of unfiltered cider were fermented in the dorms of Bates College, Maine. We're now a team of 100, with new roles opening across all departments.

We produce, package, and ship our products at the cider house in East Boston, which is also the location of our office, taproom, and seasonal outdoor bar.

Brand Marketing Manager:

The mission of the Brand Marketing Manager role is to drive growth through obsessing over our target customer, building an aware and engaged following.

Responsibilities:

• Manage brand positioning and consumer insights
• Develop compelling creative content for brand campaigns
• Engage consumers regularly via social media, email, website, and influencer campaigns
• Design, manage, and execute seasonal consumer sampling programs and venue sponsorships
• Measure and report performance of brand marketing initiatives, assessing ROI and key results

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in CPG brand management with progressive responsibility, required; experience in food and beverage industry, preferred
• Experience developing and launching paid and organic media campaigns on a weekly cadence
• Experience hiring, training, and deploying field marketing resources
• Ability to assess and prioritize marketing opportunities based on strategic objectives and key results
• Excellent copywriting skills with ability to write in an established brand voice
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively across functions and organizations
• Strong intellectual curiosity; ability to create novel approaches to new opportunities on an ongoing basis
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
