We are looking for a professional to join our Byhalia, MS team as a Yard Binder Technician The Yard Binder Technician Responsible for operating and maintaining the Binder area and process water areas with all, of its components, maintaining a high standard regarding safety, quality and output .

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Drive, commitment, positive attitude and high energy

· Must have a good understanding in how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.

· Must be a team player

· Have a working knowledge of resin pumps and cooling system

· The ability to read and understand written instructions

· Must be able to take direction and work at times with minimal supervision

· Hands-on problem solver

· High energy and commitment

· Able to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague

· The ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height

· Work in a non-climate-controlled environment for 12 hours daily

·

· Curiosity to learn how to melt stone into lava!

Essential Functions:

· Checks and/or is maintaining resin transfer pump, tank percentages, pond level, resin dilution tank, water pressures/WCC

· Performs moisture testing

· Safely unloads ammonia hydroxide, dextrose, binder resin, silane and impregnation oil

· Monitors and change process water filters, as needed

· Other tasks as needed or assigned

· Collects and/or tests samples of process water, resin, binder and raw materials

· Performs tap-density tests

· He/she must have the knowledge, skill and ability to operate a loader, forklift and skid-steer

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Hands-on problem solver

· Must be able to take direction and work at times with minimal supervision.

Basic Physical Requirements:

· The ability to lift 60 pounds

· The ability to lift up to 120 pounds with another person

· The ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height

· The ability to sweep

· The ability to use sharp objects in a safe manner

· Ability to wear protective + safety equipment

Essential Functions:

· Supply support to production to ensure production can produce a high-quality finished product at the highest production rate

· Communicate with drivers and haulers of raw materials

· Resolve any recurring problems with a view to maximizing equipment availability time and efficiency, ensuring this is done with health and safety standards in mind

· Offer ideas and suggestions for positive changes

· As part of the Yard team, responsible for cleanliness of the factory grounds.

· Remove snow/ice as needed

· Operate loader, fill raw material bins on shift, clean out under furnace as necessary or required.

· Prepare the furnace pit with fines material

· Stock piling of raw materials as they are delivered, and perform any other loader task

· Load bins or trucks with production waste, furnace waste and garbage from factory

· Responsible for maintenance checks on loader daily

· Ensure the waste and raw material storage areas are organized and orderly

· Remove waste and place in appropriate bins
