Our Finance department has a career opportunity for a Billing Supervisor. This position can be based from any of our U.S. offices with the Bay Area offices being preferred.
Job Description:
The Billing Supervisor will have overall responsibility to monitor key systems and reports to ensure goals and activities for the designated practice group are being met timely and accurately. The Supervisor will participate in hiring and training (with the ability to cater to individual training style/needs), oversee their assigned staff and coordinate team workflow, provide effective performance feedback as well as prepare annual reviews. This is a hands-on position which will have a designated portfolio and involves working within a team-oriented environment. The position encompasses all aspects of the day-to-day billing and collections operations (full portfolio management), which includes but is not limited to: administering special billing arrangements, monitor accounts receivables, provide management with status reports and actively recommend process improvements where needed, assist clients in resolving questions and/or problems regarding their invoices and accounts and engage management promptly when needed. This position will also work with department management and their team to unify and streamline processes specific to areas of practice.
The qualified candidate will have 5-7 plus years' experience in billing/accounting (legal/professional services billing) and a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills required as there will be regular interaction with partners and clients. Aderant experience a plus.

The anticipated range for this position is:
$98,000 - $128,000
Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance. Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
