Northwest Health Services is seeking an entry level Behavioral Health Coordinator to join our team of professionals, who is passionate about starting their career in the insurance world.

As a BH coordinator at Northwest Health Services, you will be responsible for assisting Northwest Health Services by:


  • Provide Case Management duties including; identifying and reducing barriers to care for patients.
  • Track internal and external Behavioral Health referrals.
  • Assist with obtaining records from community and hospital partners to assist with care continuity.
  • Assists with community and company resource identification and coordination of services.
  • Communicate and coordinate plans with patients, family members, and other participants of the care team.
  • Assist with fulfilling Behavioral Health record requests.
  • Verify insurance benefits information and approval for Behavioral Health patients.
  • Assist Behavioral Health providers with Prior Authorizations for counseling services.
  • Assist with caseload monitoring and patient correspondence. Draft discharge letters as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license and proof of active insurance.
  • Must possess ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients, and other individuals encountered in the course of employment.
  • Must demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • Possess light typing skills. Must demonstrate accuracy, proficiency, and efficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
