Benefits Administrator

HR Solutions, LLC, a provider of Human Resource Outsourcing Services including Payroll, HR Consulting, Group Employee Benefits and Risk and Management Consulting services to small and mid-size companies, is looking for a Benefits Administrator that works well in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Client relations drive our business, so we are looking for an energetic, positive person that can ensure the needs of our clients are met or exceeded.

We are looking for an organized, analytical thinking employee to help us examine both client and employee benefits data (such as health insurance, life insurance, benefit plan design, etc.). The incumbent will collect information, analyze data, identify problems, and help to correct mistakes and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate errors.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates enrollment changes for all assigned client employees who are participating in benefit plans
  • Responds to inquires from clients/employees/brokers regarding benefits, enrollment status and plan design
  • Responds to inquires from Benefits Manager on any client/employee discrepancies, plan designs, enrollments, and employee status
  • Assists with assigned clients 401k inquires as needed
  • Provides relevant information to Payroll and Accounting departments
  • Assist in the coordination of benefit payments for employees on leave
  • Reconciles monthly premium billings for assigned clients; works to ensure proper enrollment and correction of errors prior to next billing statement
  • Assists in the maintenance and processing of benefit records using the online benefits enrollment system
  • Acts as liaison between benefit vendors, brokers, and clients/employees to facilitate resolution of enrollment issues
  • Maintain assigned clients benefit premium payments, funding accounts, proper deduction and premium adjustments
  • Entering employee enrollments/terminations/changes on carrier websites
  • Contacting agents and brokers to ensure escalated issues are addressed
  • Working closely with clients and team members to ensure benefit enrollments are handled in a timely manner
  • Open enrollments for multiple assigned clients
  • Handling additional duties and special projects to ensure the business is operating efficiently and effectively

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of employee benefit plans and/or experience in company benefits required
