TITLE:

Behavior Therapist

DEFINITION:

The Behavior Therapist is responsible to perform Early Intervention Services and/or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with a caseload of children and their families, following Stars Infant Program procedures. They will ensure compliance with regulations and timelines in all aspects of services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• ABA Therapist will provide direct services by maintaining a caseload

• Implementation of goals and objectives on IFSP and/or ABA treatment plans in a variety of community settings, utilizing developmentally appropriate and effective practices.

• RBT will maintain accurate paperwork documentation and records of client files.

• Demonstration of a family-centered philosophy, and respect for cultural diversity.

• Behavior Technician will complete appropriate documentation and data collection

• Provides direct educational information to caregivers regarding their child's development and behavioral needs

• Attend and participate in staff meetings, training and in-services for Stars Therapy Services.

• Update monthly schedules

• Calculate weekly and monthly visits to ensure accuracy

• Complete Stars Infant Program Early Intervention Training Program

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Driver's License (Required)

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

• ABA therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

• Working with infants/toddlers: 1 year (Preferred)

JOB TYPES: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: 8 hour shift- Monday to Friday
