Behavior Interventionist Job at Burnett Therapeutic Services
Looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals interested in working directly with children and families! You do not need prior experience if you have a heart for helping. We will assist you and provide hands on training and support!
Part-time position (with full time opportunities dependent on client availability)
We are currently supporting staff to obtain RBT certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 direct ABA intervention in home and community settings
- Collect accurate, ongoing data on programs
- Clear communication with all team members
- Work with children in their home/community environment
- Receive support from Supervisor
Qualifications:
- A positive, flexible attitude and enthusiasm to serve children
- Participation in team meetings and ongoing training
- Must be reliable and have good interpersonal skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
- ABA knowledge and/or experience is preferred, but not required
- RBT certified is a plus, but not required (we will support you in obtaining certification!)
- Spanish speaking a plus, bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
Requirements:
- Pass DOJ/FBI fingerprinting
- Valid California Driver’s license
- Reliable transportation, and valid automobile Insurance
- Ability to provide negative TB test
- High school diploma or equivalent

The Behavior Interventionist works in the family’s home providing 1:1 behavioral instruction, support to families, and implementing the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program to children with autism and other disabilities. If interested in the field of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, and/or Therapy, this is a great way to make a difference with the families and clients we serve! Experience in working with children or disabilities either professionally or personally is a plus, but not a requirement as you will receive training and hands-on support/training in the home.
