Banquet Server Functions:

• Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.
• Prepares for an upcoming event to include gathering supplies and proper set-up
• Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome
• Butler Hors d'oeuvres as needed while being polite, friendly and helpful to guests
• General clean-up (bussing of plates and glassware)
• Confirm orders accordingly to your assigned section and tables
• Replenish drinks and wine along with providing coffee services in a timely manner
• Always maintain clean tables efficiently and
• General Clean-up and breakdown at the events conclusion
• Reset the banquet room as required and instructed
• Cater to the guest’s requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service
• Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct
• Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management
• Reports to the Banquet Captain

Essential Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or Equivalent- Preferred
• Previous serving experience preferred
• Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations as well as etiquette
• Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time)
• Abide by all Laws and company policies that regulate serving alcoholic beverages
• Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies and rules
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance
• Frequently Wash Hands for proper food handling
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

• Blue Bell, PA 19422: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
