Bankruptcy Paralegal Job at The Law Office of Marc E. Grossman
We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal, specializing in chapter 7 and chapter 13 cases Post-Petition, for all Districts of California. Our ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, process-oriented and self-motivated to work without constant management, and able to adapt to procedural changes in order for expansion.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare clients for the 341 meetings
- Document review and timely submission
- Review bankruptcy notices, motions, objections, and pleadings
- Timely and professional communication with clients and other interested parties
- Manage chapter 7 and chapter 13 cases from filing to post-discharge
- Work effectively with the case attorney
- Rigorously review each case for issues and proactive ways to resolve those issues (refiles, conversions, modifications, etc.)
- Other duties specific to your assigned cases may include reaffirmations, modifications, dismissals, legal research, etc.
