We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Coral Springs, 33071

A lovely family in Coral Springs is seeking a part time nanny for their kind & active 11 year old son and outgoing 14 year old daughter to start as soon as possible. Care will be primarily needed for the 11 year old boy aside from driving the 14 year old girl.

The 11 year old boy is has high functioning autism and ADHD; he is verbal and may need some redirection at times. He takes karate lessons and enjoys basketball, cars, monster trucks, and stuffed animals. The 14 year old girl plays soccer and does cheerleading. Both children are allergic to tree nuts; these will not be permitted in the home.

Mom and dad occasionally WFH and a great candidate will be comfortable with them coming in and out of the house throughout the day. A great candidate will be fun, communicative, enjoy music and be comfortable letting loose and engaging with the children. There is a small 10 pound friendly dog in the home who will need to be let outside, however, no other pet care is needed. Those eligible in the household are fully vaccinated + boosted against COVID-19.

• Start date: ASAP
• End date/Length of Position: Long term
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2pm-7pm + Fridays 2pm-5pm
• Compensation: $20-$22 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Driving children; school/summer camp pick ups - maximum of 10-15 minutes away
• Basic meal + snack prep for children
• Engaging + encouraging the 11 year old with fine motor skill activities, chores, and play
• Supervising/helping children with their chores
• Tidying up after self + child
• Laundry for 11 year old

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience with school age children as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting
• Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Experience with special needs is a plus
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and willing to show proof
• Boosted against COVID-19, preferred
• Must have a reliable vehicle to transport children; will receive gas reimbursement when driving the children
• Must have a valid driver's license + safe driving record - Motor Vehicle Report checked
• Non smoker

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
