AWS Certified Weldings Inspector Job at Moore Twining Associates, Inc.
Job Description:
Moore Twining is currently recruiting for a full time AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) in the Fresno, California area. Travel will be required on occasion. Candidates should have experience in construction inspection and materials testing with the ability to observe work for conformance with applicable plans and specifications, complete daily field inspection reports, identify and report discrepancies and possess some or all of the following certifications.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:
-Observation, monitoring and testing for compliance with plans and specifications.
-Ability to read plans and specifications for inspection duties and requirements.
-Knowledge of the California Building Code (CBC), ASTM Standards, ACI Standards, AWS Standards, etc.
-Ability to clearly write daily field reports and discrepancy reports
-Have and maintain a clean driving record
-Ability to lift 50lbs.
Possessing the following ICC Certifications are NOT required, but considered a BONUS:
- Structural Steel and Bolting
- Structural Steel Welding
- Soils
- Reinforced Concrete
- Structural Masonry
- Pre-Stressed/Post-Tensioned Concrete
