Automotive Warranty Compliance Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the National Warranty Training Department with warranty compliance as it applies to Service Managers, Service Advisors, Warranty Administrators and Fixed Operations Managers
  • Reinforce the implementation of the Anomalous Repair Control (ARC) program.
  • Knowledge of claims coding and submission; troubleshooting claims
  • Understanding of dealer processes and applying this towards analysis and recommendations
  • A thorough understanding of dealership fixed operations and warranty compliance policies and procedures.
  • Follows and delivers proven training strategy as well as warranty training to dealers to support their claims submission and Goodwill processing
  • Ability to consult and understand process implementation
  • Conducts training courses in accordance with performance standards.
  • Conducts training for members of the wholesale organization, as directed
  • Submits rosters, expense reports, and activity reports, in accordance with client and GP Strategies policies.
  • Follows travel policies
  • Creates detailed contact reports
  • Documents all work
  • Works with assigned personnel to develop training schedules.
  • Conducts Special Training assignments as required
  • Monitors dealership performance and follows up as needed
  • Provides ongoing (phone & live) counseling and coaching as needed
  • Conduct pre-contact reconnaissance
  • Maintains communication with GP Strategies management as well as client contact personnel
  • Builds and maintains relationships with field staff
  • Performs administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Always maintains professional ethics
  • Follows HR policies and procedures
  • Develop action plans and present
  • Act as SME and assist with compliance

Your Profile:

  • Comfortable in dealership environment
  • Excellent level of organization
  • Possess a sense of urgency in completing tasks
  • Desire to continually increase computer literacy skills
  • Strong facilitation skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Substantial retail automotive service management experience, warranty administration, service advisor
  • Knowledge of all aspects of in-dealership operations
  • Knowledge of technical support material (tech manuals, bulletins, recalls)
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, persuasion, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy, experience with Windows, MS Office
  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Exceptional organizational skills for proactively developing schedules and documenting work
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High personal level of ethics
  • Detail oriented, quantitative analysis, multi-tasking/prioritizing
  • Ability to travel 5% with occasional overnight travel required (around 6 trips per year)
  • Ability and desire to work remotely

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nissan wholesale and/or retail experience
  • Detailed understanding of Service Work Orders and Warranty Compliance
  • Knowledge and understanding of Nissan Assurance Products Resource Manual (APRM)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Nissan Mainframe applications
  • Familiar with Anomalous Repair Control (ARC) program
  • Understand the dealer audit process

General Physical Requirements

  • Light Work- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Light work involves sitting most of the time.
  • Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitor, and read.
  • Requires visual acuity to view surroundings and identify potential hazards to safety while performing essential functions of the job. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a classroom or other client setting.
  • Visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
