Job Title: AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Position Purpose: To ensure customer receives complete service to his/her vehicle in a timely and professional manner and to maintain a pleasant and safe environment for customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes, tire checks, battery installations, and air conditioning repair.
- Run tests and diagnostic procedures to identify mechanical issues with vehicles that customers bring in.
- Repair any outstanding vehicle issues at the customer's request, and conduct inspections to ensure that all repairs were done safely and effectively.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of each repair job for both the customer and the company's records.
- Maintain a clean work environment to facilitate safe and efficient service.
- Understand and comply with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or JTSS documentation.
- Other duties as requested or assigned.
Job Requirements/Competencies:
- Customer service skills to assist customers.
- Ethics and integrity to treat customers and other employees with respect.
- Basic computer skills to enter customer and vehicle information correctly.
- The ability to work as a team to come up with efficient solutions to automotive problems.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred
