Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $27.00 - $29.00 DOE

What qualities we are looking for:

• Valid Washington State Driver’s license & clean driving record
• 2+ years professional automotive gas & diesel engine maintenance
• Strong skills in electrical & testing
• High mechanical aptitude
• Desire to continue education & training in automotive repair technology
• Comfortable using computers and data entry software systems
• ASE certification is highly desired
• Previous experience with transit or school bus systems
• Work boots with oil resistant soles and personal tools are required
• CDL Class C license & DOT Medical Certification are required within 90 days of hire. Hopelink will PAY for your training, CDL test & DOT medical exam!

You will partner with:

• Automotive Maintenance Manager

An example of what you will be doing:

• Maintain service and repairs on Hopelink vehicles and contracted buses
• Enter maintenance records into computerized database
• Provide technical assistance to non-automotive service personnel
• Make on-site service calls to rescue and repair disabled vehicles
• Perform safety inspections on Hopelink vehicles and contracted buses
• Fully operate and transport Hopelink vehicles to dealers and service vendors

**Due to Federal Regulations, this position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position, therefore employees are required to undergo a full criminal background check and pre-employment Federal DOT drug screening, and are subject to random screenings, which include THC among other restricted substances.
