Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday
Compensation: $27.00 - $29.00 DOE
What qualities we are looking for:
- Valid Washington State Driver’s license & clean driving record
- 2+ years professional automotive gas & diesel engine maintenance
- Strong skills in electrical & testing
- High mechanical aptitude
- Desire to continue education & training in automotive repair technology
- Comfortable using computers and data entry software systems
- ASE certification is highly desired
- Previous experience with transit or school bus systems
- Work boots with oil resistant soles and personal tools are required
- CDL Class C license & DOT Medical Certification are required within 90 days of hire. Hopelink will PAY for your training, CDL test & DOT medical exam!
You will partner with:
- Automotive Maintenance Manager
An example of what you will be doing:
- Maintain service and repairs on Hopelink vehicles and contracted buses
- Enter maintenance records into computerized database
- Provide technical assistance to non-automotive service personnel
- Make on-site service calls to rescue and repair disabled vehicles
- Perform safety inspections on Hopelink vehicles and contracted buses
- Fully operate and transport Hopelink vehicles to dealers and service vendors
**Due to Federal Regulations, this position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position, therefore employees are required to undergo a full criminal background check and pre-employment Federal DOT drug screening, and are subject to random screenings, which include THC among other restricted substances.
