AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE MANAGER

Experience Required

Renaldo Honda is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager. We are located at Renaldo Auto Mall and are part of Donald Automotive Group, a successful dealership franchise group.

Responsibilities - Service Manager:

• Oversee hiring and managing the service team.
  Effectively manage team members, including technicians and advisors, to ensure team objectives and sales goals are accomplished.
  Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently sold to service customers
  Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Take ownership of the customer’s experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression on the customer
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
• Develops working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, and ensures the service department adheres to all regulations
• Resolves service desk problems and improves current service desk methods to increase productivity and customer service
• Assist in distributing work between technicians efficiently
• Must be knowledgeable of the manufacturer’s warranty and processes

Service Manager - Job Requirements:

• Must be organized and have a friendly personality
• Previous Service Management Experience required
• Demonstrated ability to manage others
• Must possess time management skills
• Have a professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Must have good communication skills with customers
• Clean and valid driving record
