Autism Spectrum Disorder Evaluator (ADOS Assessor) Job at Harambe Management Solutions
Position Status: Contractual
General Description
The qualified licensed practitioner will conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluation by administering Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) and Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and other validated evaluation tools as necessary. Based on the evaluation, practitioner determines the Child’s diagnosis, determine medical necessity for Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), and provide treatment recommendations.
Qualifications
· Master’s degree from accredited program in psychology or social work; an advanced practice registered nurse with training, experience, or expertise in ASD and/or behavioral health; a physician assistance with training, experience, or expertise in ASD and/or behavioral health
· Licensed by the State of Michigan in psychology or social work, PA license
· Qualified and experienced in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder
· Experience in health care settings or behavioral health field
· Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Competencies
· Proficiency in the following instruments; ADOS-2, Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), Child’s Global Assessment Scale (CGAS), Developmental Disabilities- Children’s Global Assessment Scale (DD-CGAS)
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
· Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required.
· Ability to demonstrate absolute discretion with confidential information is required.
Contractual requirements (not an exhaustive lis)
· Maintain at own expense licensure and/or certification required to provide professional services in Michigan
· credentialed and re-credentialed by the CMHSP
· Maintain at own expense professional liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence or per claim
· Complete all required trainings
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $195.00 - $390.00 per hour
