Our Team:

We have an amazing opportunity to join our Finance Planning & Analytics (FP&A) business/technology team. Assists in system administration for key corporate financial and performance management systems. Provides database management and technology solutions to support critical FP&A business processes. Acts as business liaison with end user community. The role is based in Westwood, MA or Berlin, CT.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in system administration and database management for planning and reporting software: IBM Planning Analytics, Board, Dimensional Insight, and/or other planning and reporting systems

• Plays a role in improving and streamlining current technology models and assists in the development of new models and databases in response to changing business needs

• Supports software implementations and upgrades

• Troubleshoots technical issues; coordinates with technical leads in problem solving

• Develops processes to manage databases, dimensions, and attributes. Develops financial and budgeting reports and tools

• Assists in system interface design and implementation

• Manages end user security and system structure changes

• Performs system reconciliations and supports internal audit requirements

• Acts as point of contact and communication for end users

• Provides training and acts as liaison to end user community

Technical Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics, Board, Dimensional Insight and/or PowerPlan or other financial software preferred

• Be able to successfully pair technology/IT skills with an understanding of business processes, accounting and budgeting principles

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a team environment under tight deadlines.

• Strong communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience

• Work towards a MIS, MBA or other master’s degree preferred

Experience:

• 1 – 3 + years related experience required.

• Background in business and/or accounting concepts preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position starts at $64,890.00 to $72,100.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
