What you’ll be doing:

• Perform DOT Safety Functions including Annual DQ Reviews, Equipment inspections, and driver HOS training
• Provide Support for Safety management and Transportation team
• Reinforce safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and morale
• Road testing/DOT Qualification of driver candidates
• Provide administrative support for Field safety managers
• Work with Sr Safety Leadership to update Polices and Regulation documents
• Track truck audits and communicate results to ensure inspection goals are on track
• Provide Safety leadership with reporting on guidance completion and post accidents requirements
• Monitor and report performance CSA and HOS metrics
• Assist Safety Manager in conducting facility inspections

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 1 years of Transportation Safety experience
• CDL Class A in good standing
• 1 year of CDL A experience
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel 25%
• Equipment knowledge and mechanical aptitude
